It has arrived Android 11 also for Xiaomi Mi 9T. These last few weeks are full of updates for Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones. Just today the Note me 10 Lite has been updated to MIUI 12.5. Redmi Note 9 e Note 9 Pro instead they received the update to Android 11. Well, today also the old glory of two generations ago, called in India and China Redmi K20, received Android 11. Let's see i details of this update since it will not arrive right away for everyone.

Xiaomi Mi 9T receives the update to Android 11, in good time. However, this is the Androdi 11 in the Mi Pilot version, not for everyone

As anticipated, Xiaomi Mi 9T updates to Android 11. But can everyone upgrade right away? As usual, no. In fact, this new update of which we will find out the build number between poco, is reserved only for Mi Pilots. What does it mean? Basically, the Mi Pilots are the "old" beta testers, or those who can take advantage of the preview updates with respect to the common user. They, starting today, will see the update package containing Android 11 for Xiaomi Mi 9T delivered. That said, let's go see the details.

Android 11 for Xiaomi Mi 9T comes with build number V12.1.2.0.RFJMIXM. As you can see this is the update for the ROM Global: we find in fact the initials MI that distinguishes this branch from China and the EEA. However, as anticipated, it is an update released only for the Mi Pilots. There is no need to despair though: within a couple of weeks, maximum three, the update will reach everyone via OTA. Just enough time to fix routine bugs and that's it.

At the end of the article we leave the link for the download of the recovery, which we remember to be installable only through unlocking the bootloader e ROM flash. We strongly advise against installing it to those who are not a Mi Pilot: you will certainly run into compatibility problems. We might as well wait.

In any case, the Xiaomitoday.it team assumes no responsibility in case of damage to the smartphone as a result of modding operations.
