In many I choose the devices Android One because of the fact that Google is the same to ensure constant updates for at least 18 months, and in a sense nothing more true can be asserted, since i two new Xiaomi devices presented in Madrid just over a week ago they have already received both a firmware update. We speak of course of Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite and in the specific case of the more grade model, the update has a weight of 380 MB and update the level of Android security patches to 5 on August 2018. Unfortunately, no changelog was released except that some micro bugs seem to be corrected, which I did not find specifically in my test period.
In any case it is certainly an invitation to buy more both Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, which in Italy they will be debuting their sales on 8 on August 2018. Xiaomi Mi A2 will be available in three colors, black, gold and blue and in three versions with the following prices: 4 GB + 32 GB for € 279,99, 4 GB + 64 GB for € 299 and 6 GB + 128 GB for € 349, while Mi A2 Lite will be available in 3 GB + 32 GB for 189 and 4 GB + 64 GB for € 229,90.

But even the Mi A2 Lite, the entry level with a stock operating system, receives the update and in a sense to judge from the bugs that afflict the small device this is really good news, in fact if you have read our Full review, we have highlighted that perhaps the system is not yet well optimized on this device due to instability of some apps. Judging by the weight of the new update, 1085,7 MB, the improvements should be decidedly full-bodied even if a first bug is found in the OTA notification. Indeed there is notified that the update will bring the level of security patches to August 2018, just like for Mi A2, but as you can see from the screenshot below these actually remain in July 2018 (the previous ones were in June 2018).
