Xiaomi Mi A2: a bug reduces battery life

Just a few days ago we told you about the achievements pulled by Xiaomi and Nokia in the smartphone field Android One, but it's not just joy in this affair, as these days some users are reporting a problem related to the battery drain of their Xiaomi Mi A2, which would lead to a complete discharge of the device with only 3 hours of active screen. The cause of excessive discharge seems to be due to intensive CPU usage, which even when the phone is switched off uses all the cores in an unmotivated manner.

Xiaomi Mi A2: a bug reduces battery life

And therefore the extreme effort to which the CPU is subjected causes the battery to suffer in terms of autonomy. It is clear that this is a bug, but the strange thing is that themany have solved by deactivating the fingerprint sensor as a possible unlocking option. Strange, right?

According to information appeared on the web, some users have stated that theirs Xiaomi Mi A2 is back to work on a regular basis only after deactivating the scanner and restarting the device. In addition, the issue has "widened" coming also in the forum of geeks of XDA where they appeared i first thread on each other. On the other hand, there is no official declaration from the company as explained above, although the complaints of users continue to grow.
