While we await the official launch of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5, an event already scheduled for July 15, the brand has just communicated a very interesting data regarding its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4 from record: It is the best-selling smart band in the world
As we can see in the image above in fact, the Mi Band released in June 2019 is the "best selling wearable band", or the wearable smart band that has sold the most units in the world. This record refers to the period between the third quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020, while the source of the data is the usual market research agency: Canalys.
We quickly remember that the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 comes with a 0,95-inch diagonal AMOLED color display. Then we find a heartbeat sensor accompanied by pins for charging in the back, while as regards the internal components, the wearable is equipped with a fifth generation Bluetooth chip for a quick connection with the smartphone and at the same time keeping low the consumption . The battery of the Mi Band 4 has a capacity of 135mAh, against the 110mAh of the previous version, for an autonomy of about 20 days. Then there is a six-axis sensor to perfectly recognize six main sport modes: indoor running, weight lifting, swimming, cycling, walking and outdoor running.
As for the new one Xiaomi Mi Band 5 instead, the wearable uses a 1.1-inch diagonal display, AMOLED type and with a resolution of 126 x 294 pixels. The external measures are 47.2 x 18.5 x 12.4 and a weight of 12.1 g.
From the point of view of the features, we have the possibility to control the camera app of our smartphone remotely through the bluetooth 5.0 connectivity that we have on board. We then find more than 100 static and animated themes with which to customize the display and functionality PAI.
