Xiaomi Mi Band 6 (Here our review) was undoubtedly the most desired smartband even if the expectations were somewhat unfulfilled. Initially there was news about the presentation of a model equipped with NFC, called pangu. This model had a code number XMSH16HM, but to date no trace of it. After a few months from its debut in Italy, however, we may have some news. How much pre one Mi Band 6 with NFC has just been certified and could arrive in Italy and in Europe.

Xiaomi Mi Band 6 was presented in Italy without NFC. Yet it seems that the model with NFC (XMSH16HM) is coming to us!
Within an Italian certification, as well as success for Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 and for other products, we have found evidence about the arrival of a second version of the sixth generation smartband. In short words: Xiaomi Mi Band 6 with NFC could arrive in Italy and in Europe very, very soon. But how do we know that this is the model equipped with an NFC chip for contactless payments? Very simple: by crossing the data we went back to his number. Below is the certification in question.

Let's go in order. Xiaomi Mi Band 6 was presented at the time in two variants: one without NFC (with model number XMSH15HM) and one equipped with NFC (with model number XMSH16HM). Officially, only the first one arrived, therefore the one without a chip dedicated to contactless payments. Today, however, we have discovered that there is a Mi Band 6 model equipped with NFC, also certified for Italy and Europe. Above you can see the model number.
The certifications of this type that we have previously discovered have always revealed that indeed the product is intended for our market. Among other things, there was also another clue from Russia dating back to a few days ago. If you remember correctly, Xiaomi and Mastercard have made an agreement regarding the Mi Band 6 with NFC. For the moment it does not exist no official statement, however, we expect Xiaomi to let us know something about it in the coming weeks.

Internal sources have confirmed that the sixth generation smartband will arrive in Europe on the day of future, on the occasion of the presentation of the new Xiaomi 11T smartphone series.
