In recent weeks we have seen several smartwatches created by the Xiaomi sub-brand, Amazfit, enter the market. Today it is instead the turn of the Xiaomi parent company that in China presents the new model of the smartwatch series dedicated to children, let's talk about the Xiaomi Mi Bunny 3C. The new wearable arrives about two years after the launch of the 2C and brings with it several interesting improvements compared to the previous variant, such as the AMOLED display, improved autonomy and impermeability (IPX7). Let's go then to discover all the various details!
Xiaomi Mi Bunny 3C: Presented in China the new smartwatch for children
Let's start with the perhaps most important hardware component on a smartwatch, or the display. The Mi Bunny 3C equips a new AMOLED screen with diagonal 1,3 inches and 240 x 240 resolution. The display also has a wide viewing angle from 160 °, a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass to protect it and an 2.5D curve for a more delicate look.
Although for children, the smartwatch still has touch functionality and an oleophobic treatment to prevent fingerprints from soiling the screen. Just above the screen we find an 2MP HD camera with a wide-angle 84.8 ° lens and a f / 2.4 focal aperture. The camera can then be used by parents to take a look at children directly from the smartwatch in the event of an emergency or for a quick chat.
In fact, thanks to the support for dual 4G connectivity, the device will always be connected to the network. We also have the Wi-Fi module, GPS, Beidu, AGPS, motion sensor and other sensors.
Turning to autonomy instead, the Xiaomi Mi Bunny 3C is equipped with an 780mAh battery for up to four days of use (normal), while in standby mode the range increases to 7 days.
As for the smart side, the smartwatch has an artificial intelligence system to teach children different concepts that might come in handy when they go to school (going from kindergarten to elementary school). There is also Xiaomi's XiaoAI assistant that will allow children to chat with friends or parents, set alarms, start or stop playing music and ask questions in the encyclopedia.
Finally, it is possible to connect the wearable with the new Xiaomi AI Speaker and Xiaomi AI Speaker Mini speakers, so that you can ask for the position of the child or the battery charge left from anywhere in the house.
The Xiaomi Mi Bunny 3C is now on sale on the official website of the Chinese manufacturer at the figure of 398 Yuan, or about 52 euros at current exchange rates.
