And if until a few hours ago we could only talk about the China Stable version, today we can announce that MIUI 12 Global Stable is finally available and without restrictions. Recall that the ROM can only be installed on devices designed for the global market due to the more restrictive policy by Xiaomi, under penalty of bricking the phone unless you have taken steps to unlock the bootloader.

The update to the new MIUI interface leads to the version 12.0.1.0.QEDMIXM on an Android 10 basis and as already anticipated will be notified via OTA, gradually or if you do not want to wait you can proceed with the download of the ZIP file of the OTA update and install it manually by going to the menu Settings> About phone> System updates> Menu (3 dots at the top right)> Choose the update package. Just select the file you just downloaded to proceed with the flash of the MIUI 12 Global Stable on Xiaomi Mi Max 3 without any data being deleted. We recommend, but not essential, always a backup of your data, if possible, and a clean flash with each update of this type.

Calculating the size of today's phones (6.3-6.7 ″), now the old Max are almost standard phones. They did a nice 4 / 7.4 ″ Max7.6, with snap 765, it would be perfect ... even better a cheaper redmi. But it will remain a dream.
