The first Xiaomi smartphone prototype with camera below the screen does not seem to be enough for the Chinese giant. A new image of a concept based on different rumors suggests that the company is working on a device with another strength: thickness.
The various images you will see in this post come directly from China and portray what could be the next Xiaomi Mi MIX 4.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 4: Only 5mm thick in new concept
As you can see, the smartphone series that became famous for the lack of the upper edge could adopt an ultra thin design. How thin? Well the rumors suggest a thickness of only 5mm (yes, five millimeters!), This without including the rear cameras that seem to protrude slightly.
Obviously in addition to the thickness, even the weight will be smaller but unfortunately at the moment we can only speculate around the 160 grams.
As for the specifications instead, the next top of the line Xiaomi will have the best hardware in circulation. This includes the 2019 flagship processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory; an AMOLED screen produced by Samsung from 6,39 inches and Full HD + resolution.
There will also be three rear cameras with the main one using a Sony IMX586 sensor from 48MP, while the other two with 13MP and 16MP resolution coupled with telephoto and ultra wide-angle lenses.
Moreover, all the other flagship features like IP68 waterproofing, NFC, wireless charging and much more will not be missing.
At this point the only real unknown seems to be the front camera not visible in the concept phone renderings, which is of the type below the screen like the one we just saw in this post?
