Xiaomi already working on Mi MIX 5: hidden camera with 2K + screen?
At the same time, thanks to the 500 million yuan spent on research and development, the screen quality in the front camera area and the shooting effect have been raised to a very high level. It is in fact the best camera technology currently on the market.
But unfortunately, due to the lack of maturity of the technology, the Mi MIX 4 was unable to achieve a true “full screen” effect capable of offering a very high quality screen like the one used on the Mi 11 Ultra. We refer in particular to the screen resolution which is only Full HD + and not 2K + as on the device just mentioned.
Well, according to the latest from the well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is already working on the next flagship of the MIX series with an upgrade of the UPC camera technology to be able to bring a higher resolution screen. So the Xiaomi Mi MIX 5 could arrive with a 2K resolution screen, like many flagships on the market.
In the coming months, if not the next year, UPC (Under-Panel Camera) technology will indeed be more mature and there should be no need to choose between screen quality or the new hidden camera design.
Also, according to Digital Chat Station, 200W wired fast charging has already been planned ahead and mass production is expected to take place next year.
In view of the fact that Xiaomi has previously revealed a 200W wired fast charging solution, combined with the positioning of the MIX series, this super fast charging technology is likely to be launched on the Xiaomi Mi MIX 5.
