That said, the Mi MIX Alpha is a concept phone that stands out from all the other smartphones around. We therefore suspect that its production is more complex than usual, with more problems and bugs to solve than a terminal with a simple front screen. Furthermore, if those listed above are the real reasons, Xiaomi does well to take all the time necessary to deliver a complete and functional product. Especially after the disappointments brought by equally complex smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.
In any case, let's recap some of the highlights of the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha now. Starting with the ultra thin edges of only 2.15mm at the top and bottom. Obviously there are no edges on the sides since the screen continues on the back until you find the photographic compartment. From the point of view of performance, however, the concept phone adopts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus with support for the 5G network, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 512GB of ultra-fast UFS 3.0 internal memory.
The photographic sector is no less with a 108 / 1-inch 1.33MP Samsung sensor, f / 1.69 focal aperture and four-axis OIS (optical stabilization). Finally, the smartphone is powered by a 4050mAh battery with support for fast charging at 40W.
