After presenting the Mi MIX 3 5G in February of this year and the new one Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G few minutes ago, the Chinese giant Xiaomi has just announced the third device with the fastest connection technology: the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha.
But as you know, the Mi MIX series focuses more on innovative design than on the specifics, so let's find out what Xiaomi has in store for us from that point of view.
Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha: The new concept phone with "Surround Display"
Well, as you can see from the image above, the Xiaomi Mi MX Alpha comes with a design never seen before on a smartphone. We are talking about a device almost entirely covered by a screen, which apparently is a single panel with no interruptions except on the back at the height of the three cameras.
Xiaomi states that this design called "Surround Display" guarantees the MIX Alpha a Screen To Body Ratio of the 180%. Needless to say, this is a number never seen before on a smartphone and that could forever change our conception of these devices. In fact, Xiaomi herself admits that it is a concept phone not yet in mass production.
Given that the smartphone has a screen on all sides, Xiaomi has seen fit to add digital buttons both for the on / off button and for changing the volume. Furthermore this design allows you to use the best rear cameras to take selfies using the display part on the back.
Another very nice gem is the MIX Alpha reload animation that shows the percentage by coloring the entire device in green (see photo above).
The Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha doesn't joke even from the hardware point of view with a main camera from well 108MP, obviously the biggest ever seen on a smartphone. The primary sensor will then be accompanied by an 20MP camera with ultra wide angle lens and one by 12MP with telephoto lens.
The other specifications on board the smartphone include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus as a processor, 12GB of LPDDR4X (2133MHz) four-channel RAM, 512GB of UFS 3.0 internal memory and hardware from real flagship.
When it comes to the price, the Mi MIX Alpha will not be cheap as it is produced in very limited quantities and given the production costs. We are talking about 19999 yuan or 2600 euros at current exchange rates.

As a mi9 owner I expected at least a product with a stabilized camera, but we went a little further ..
Nice but I was pretty disappointed too. In practice, this year there will be no new Mix because this device has a price that has nothing to do with the alleged predecessor and because apparently only 500 will be produced (so it is really a concept phone).
From Xiaomi I was expecting at least a top-of-the-range phone with a 4500 mAh battery, but unfortunately I see that only Huawei has dared this year.
We hope at least that the Xiaomi 9 Pro 5G has a price not too far from 500 €.
The phone is very beautiful, indeed BEAUTIFUL but with this price, who will buy it??? and I who waited for him so impatiently,
