It was way back in March 2017 when it came out in Europe Xiaomi Mi Note 3, one of the most beautiful smartphones of the brand together with Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi 6 obviously. When, some time earlier, he went out to China, he didn't see the light alone. A limited edition was born with him. Maybe many of you don't know how much the Chinese love the special editions of anything. Whether it's smartphones, headphones, or even pens, a Chinese who has some "waste" money will have that special edition. A user lets us know that he has put on sale the special edition of the smartphone in question at the modest sum of 10.700 yuan or about € 1.400.
The special edition of Xiaomi Mi Note 3 signed by Kris Wu was offered for sale in China: a collector's item for only € 1400
In short here is the story behind this special Xiaomi Mi Note 3. When the device came out in China back in 2017, two specimens very particular were produced. One of these was, as appropriate, the company's CEO Lei Jun while the other a Wu Yifan (known in the west as Kris Wu). But who is he? He is a Chinese singer and actor who in his time posed for Xiaomi as a model to advertise Xiaomi Mi Note 3 but also Xiaomi Mi 6 and 6X. He then became a very famous idol after joining the Korean boy band EXO, he left (if we can say so) Xiaomi and the advertising of his smartphones. The agent of Kris Wu, having terminated the legal rights, has decided to put this special edition up for sale signed by the Chinese idol.

This device has the code name "Jason" and the configuration in which it is sold is from 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. We find the processor on board Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 but the software is stuck at MIUI 10 although upgradable in due time to MIUI 12. To confirm the originality of this device there is the punching number C8P1B-562 on the upper part of the display that allows recognition in case of counterfeiting. The price? You have not read wrong: contrary to what is shooting online, the Mi Note 3 autographed with gold-colored writing by Kris Wu it is not sold at 1.999 yuan but at 10.700. Here is the test.
This figure equals 1.400 € approx. That's a lot of money, but for a hardcore fan of an idol of this level this device is an artifact. In any case, the Mi Note 3 special edition will not be sold except in China.
