Last month Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 officially debuted in China, but - to the delight of all the fans of the Chinese house - we know that the tablet it will also come to us very quicklyor. Xiaomi has a special launch in mind for next September 15, and many clues lead us to think that the fifth generation device will debut on that occasion.
The news of the day, a few minutes ago, is that, a few days after the launch, the tablet in its Global version was spotted on the database of Geekbench. Let's find out more details.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 on Geekbench: it is the Global version
This global version of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 enters the GeekBench list with the model number 21051182G. The Chinese version was also compared on GeekBench, appearing under the model number M2105K81AC. This model is listed with a Qualcomm processor clocked at 3.19 GHz.
The motherboard is listed under the codename "Nabu," which is the codename for the Mi Pad 5, powered by Snapdragon 860, according to a previous announcement from the FCC. The device will also be equipped with 6GB of RAM and will run on the Android 11 operating system, but it will definitely get the latest MIUI.
In the Geekbench single-core test, the tablet scored 781 points, while in the multi-core test it scored 2800 points. A figure below 997 points in the single-core test and 3181 points in the multi-core test obtained on GeekBench by the Mi Pad 5 Pro with Snapdragon 870.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 was launched together with the Mi Pad 5 Pro. We do not know for sure if Xiaomi will introduce the Pro version in the global market. We know instead that the tablet has a display from 11 inches with WQHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is also equipped with a 8720 mAh, among other main features.
That said, let's move on to the price, which is unique given the configuration. One Spanish YouTuber managed to catch a site from the same country that has put the Xiaomi tablet up for sale. So, how much will Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 cost? 399 € according to the price list. A really not bad price even if for the moment it seems to be present only in Spain.
