Well, the first photo of the upcoming tablet seems to have leaked online this morning. The photo comes in the form of an “official” promotional poster of the mid-range version of the Mi Pad 5. The image shows us the appearance, as well as some configurations of the device.
According to what appears in the image, the mid-range version of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is similar to the high-end version, with a full-screen solution and very thin edges.
We also learn that the mid-range version of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is equipped with a 2K resolution display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. In combination with the previous news, the screen of this version should be exactly the same as the high-end version.
However, we point out that it is not a poster released by Xiaomi, so there is the possibility that it is a fake.
It was previously reported that this screen is one of the best currently available in China. This is a very high quality LCD panel. Not only does it support high resolution and refresh rates but it also supports touch sampling rate of 240hz. It also features 4096-level touch technology and an In-Cell active pen, for a screen experience comparable to that of an iPad Pro.
It is worth mentioning that a well-known blogger previously revealed that Xiaomi's next tablet could be priced below 1999 yuan (260 €), which includes stylus support.
As for the other specifications, we should find the more premium version equipped with the Snapdragon 870 processor, the mid-range version with the Snapdragon 860 processor, and the low-end version equipped with Snapdragon 7 series or Dimensity 1200 processors.
