After a series of rumors and rumors, some of which proved to be wrong, the Xiaomi Mi Play was officially presented today in China with a very special hardware compartment and a very attractive price.

The MediaTek Helio P35 processor, which is making its debut on the market, takes over from the Mi series. In fact, we do not have much information on this SoC, except that it uses a production process at 12nm, so the line with other CPU Snapdragon is much better than the MediaTek Helio P30 to 16nm that was suggested previously. The processor then has eight cores, probably Cortex-A53 and a maximum frequency of 2,3Ghz.
Together with the new CPU, the Xiaomi Mi Play will be assisted by a technology that Xiaomi calls Dual-Turbo CPU / GPU, so something similar to Huawei's GPU Turbo that serves to improve performance within video games and have a more fluid interface. in normal use.

Finally, at least for the hardware, we have a battery 3000mAh, which perhaps jars a bit 'on a device mainly dedicated to video playback and gaming, we would have preferred something in line with the Redmi Note 5 / 6 Pro to 4000mAh, but we must remember that here we talk about a compact 5,84 inch and most likely there was no physical space for a larger battery. Other specifications include USB Type-C port, 4.2 Bluetooth and microSD card slot.
We conclude with the price of the Xiaomi Mi Play: 1099 Yuan, or 140 € (in China). With that figure we win a device with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory and well 10GB of free data traffic per month for 12 months.
