Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C presented: It is a Redmi Band in Global version

Xiaomi has just officially presented the new Mi Smart Band 4C in Malaysia. We had talked about Xiaomi's fitness tracker in the previous weeks, as it had been identified on the Bluetooth certification site and, subsequently, in the official Mi Fit app.

The smart band shares all the specifications with the Redmi Band presented in China in May, starting from the characteristics of the screen, a 1,08-inch diagonal TFT capacitive touchscreen panel and a brightness of 200 nits.

The fitness tracker offers 14 days of autonomy, therefore less than the Mi Band 4 and Mi Band 5 which instead offer 20 days of battery life on a single charge. In any case, the integrated 130 mAh battery takes almost 2 hours to fully charge, through the USB Type-A port (the ordinary one) which is exposed every time the strap is removed. For the uninitiated, this is the only smart band that does not require an external charger.

The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C supports a total of five sport modes: outdoor running, exercise, cycling, treadmill and brisk walking. Apart from these, you can track your steps, calories burned, continuous heart rate and sleep. There is also the 5ATM waterproof up to 50 meters under water and the possibility for users to control music remotely, as well as view notifications from apps directly on the wearable.

Finally, remember that the Mi Smart Band 4C arrives after the Xiaomi Mi band 5 released in China in early July and that it should be launched in a global version this month. Obviously the Mi Band 5 is a more advanced fitness tracker with 11 sport modes, animated dials, NFC, health tools and magnetic recharge.

On the other hand, the Mi Smart Band 4C is the best option for novice users or for those who aim to save money. The smart band is in fact sold at 99RM in Malaysia, or about 20 euros at the current exchange rate. The product will also be launched in other countries in the coming weeks.
