In these hours Xiaomi has launched its new one on the Indian market MI TV 4A Horizon Edition. It's about a cheap smart TV, however, at the same time equipped with really interesting technical features and functionality. Let's find out more details on the data sheet and on the price.
Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition has two 10W speakers
Let's start with the design: it is almost without frame, with a truly remarkable screen-to-body ratio (93,7%) and 178-degree viewing angles. At the display level, here's a 40 ″ FHD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a response time of 9,5 ms.
Regarding the rendering of the images, the proprietary support Vivid Picture Engine it offers better colors and contrasts than those found on higher-end televisions. The audio sector is also excellent, characterized by two 10W speakers with DTS-HD surround sound.
On the hardware side, the smart TV is powered by the Amlogic quad-core processor, paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of eMMC memory and Mali-450 GPU. Present 2 USB 2.0 ports, 3 HDMI ports, 1 Ethernet port, a 3,5 mm jack, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi.
A special mention also deserves the operating system integrated within Mi TV 4A 40 ″, that is PathWall. It is the Xiaomi operating system, in an improved version compared to previous releases in the TV sector by the Chinese company, which runs Android 9.
The data sheet is completed by the integration of Chromecast, which allows you to control the TV through the Google assistant. Eventually, you can decide to control it using Xiaomi's AIoT devices. As for streaming services, the installed software allows you to watch the contents of all major platforms.
Availability and price chapter: Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 40 will be on sale in India from 2 June, but should also arrive in Europe in the coming weeks. The price is really affordable and one of the lowest on the market: 270 €.
