The new Xiaomi Mi TV EA 2022 series has just been officially released today in China. The series includes a total of seven sizes: 32 ", 40", 43 ", 50", 55 ", 65" and 75 inches, with prices ranging from 1199 yuan (150 €) to 4999 yuan (640 €). In any case, with the exception of the 75-inch version, the remaining sizes will go on sale in the Asian country starting April 18.

As revealed by the brand, the Xiaomi TV EA 2022 series, in addition to unifying the three A / C / X lines of the previous generation, is also a grouping of the most popular models. In the future, Xiaomi TV will gradually consolidate its product lines, focusing on four product lines: Master, Digital, ES and EA.

Returning to the Xiaomi Mi TV EA 2022, the series has undergone a complete update in terms of appearance, interaction and image quality, making it a new generation of uncompromising smart TVs.

In appearance, the entire series adopts a thin-edged screen and is paired with a Unibody metal body. From the photos, the TVs look very thin and light, with a more pleasant overall look.

Xiaomi also stated that each model of the Mi TV EA 2022 series will be individually adjusted before leaving the factory, to calibrate the color of the display so that each user receives a TV with accurate colors.

The new smart TVs will then be equipped with a standard Bluetooth voice remote control, which supports voice recognition even from a distance thanks to AI and you can even activate the XiaoAI assistant without having to press any buttons.

While as far as the main specs are concerned, all TVs use an LED backlight with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and a 178 degree viewing angle. However, it changes the screen resolution which is not the same in all models, as well as the speakers, the chipset, the RAM and the voice control implementation are different.

So let's start with the smallest Xiaomi Mi TV EA32 2022, which is the only TV in the series with an HD ready display (1366 × 768 pixels). While the Mi TV EA40 2022 and the Mi TV EA43 2022 have an FHD panel (1920 x 1080 pixels). Finally, the Mi TV EA50 2022, Mi TV EA55 2022, Mi TV EA65 2022 and Mi TV EA75 2022 are equipped with a 4K screen (3840 × 2160 pixels).

For performance, the HD and FHD TVs are powered by a 64-bit dual-core Amlogic chipset (2 ARM Cortex-A53 cores, ARM Mali-450 MP2 GPU) coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The 4K (UHD) models are instead powered by a quad-core 64-bit Amlogic SoC (4 ARM Cortext-A35 cores, ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU) coupled with 1,5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

From the point of view of connectivity, all variants are equipped with single band WiFi and Bluetooth. While as regards the ports, we find two HMDI ports (one of these is compatible with ARC), two USB Type-A ports, an AV port, an Ethernet port, an S / PDIF port and an ATV / DTMB port.

All models run with the MIUI operating system for TV 3.0 and have the same ports on the back.
