In addition to having formalized the arrival in our country of four new smartphones, that is Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Redmi Note 10 5G and Note 10S, the Chinese brand also presented a very interesting new TV series: the Xiaomi Mi TV P1.
Xiaomi Mi TV P1 official series: from 32 ″ to 55 ″ with Android TV and Google assistant
The Xiaomi Mi TV P1 is a new series of relatively inexpensive Android TVs ranging from a diagonal of 32 inches to up to 55 inches. Specifically, we have 32, 43, 50 and 55 inch models.
All models over 43 inches boast 4K UHD resolution and support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision technologies. The 50 and 55-inch variants are also HDR10 + and have 88% NTSC range coverage. While the 32-inch variant is slightly less advanced with the manufacturer limiting the resolution to just 1366 × 768 and missing HDR as well. Also, given that we're dealing with the budget segment, it's no surprise that supported refresh rates are also limited to 60Hz.
As for the audio, the TVs adopt 2 x 10W stereo speakers (in the 32-inch version 2 x 5W) and support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD standards.
While from a smart point of view, although all TVs run on the Android TV operating system, there are differences between the 32-inch TV and the larger models. In particular, TVs of 43 inches and above have been equipped with Android TV 10 and a microphone that allows voice control with the Google Assistant. They also have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and 3 HDMI connectors, including an HDMI eARC. The 32-inch version runs Android TV 9, 1,5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and also 3 HDMI connectors, but one in the old HDMI ARC standard. In terms of connectivity, they will all boast dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Xiaomi Mi TV P1 series has a starting price of € 279,90 for the 32-inch model, € 449,90 for the 43 ", € 599,90 for the 50" and finally € 649,90 for the 55 " . In addition, the 43 ″ and 55 ″ models will be available for purchase at € 399,90 and € 599,90 respectively from 21 to 24 May.
