When we thought that Xiaomi had reached the limit of markets in which to get our hands, here it surprises us again by presenting a smart washing machine. It is produced in collaboration with MiniJ, formally took the name Xiaomi Mi Washing Machine and, unlike what one might think, it is semi-portable.
The dimensions might suggest a sort of toy but in reality it is a more than functional washing machine. It has a capacity of 2,8 KG (a fraction of what we are used to) and a series of 2 energy saving programs. As for the dimensions, the Xiaomi Mi Washing Machine is 63 cm high, 50 cm wide and 41,5 cm deep. The porthole has a thickness of 38 cm. The total weight of the Xiaomi Mi Washing Machine is 34 KG (it would not seem like given the size).
The engine used by the Chinese giant is called Amotec Kore DD and uses inverter technology. A very interesting feature is the washing temperature. There is a special program that can even reach the 95 °, in order to eliminate all Staphylococcus aureus, having a degree of sterilization of the 99,99%.
Until now, however, Xiaomi's hand has not been seen in the slightest. However, it comes into play when we talk about the remote control of the Xiaomi Mi Washing Machine. In fact, thanks to the WiFi connection the washing machine is equipped with, it is possible to use an application on your smartphone to control most of the functions, including the choice of one of the 14 types of washing programs available.
Unlike other Xiaomi products, we believe that buying this washing machine, even through importers, is quite difficult. However, the price list in China for it is of 1499 yuan which, at the current exchange rate, is equivalent to about 209 euro.
