!!! NEVER INSERT MICRO / NANO SIM ADAPTER WITHOUT SIM IN CARREL!
The SIM adapter makes a hook effect by getting stuck in the feet of the SIM reader leading to damage to it.
This is NOT a Mi3 defect, I got the same damage I personally found on a Xiaomi Mi2S and on a Samsung Galaxy S3 which, although not having the cart, were damaged by adapters by destroying the SIM card reader.
So, to recap, for those who did not understand it:
