The news we are about to give you could be theumpteenth leak, but it comes from Lei Jun and it's la first time Xiaomi reveals a story about the 9 Mi, also demonstrating that the team is actually developing a new top-of-the-range device. What if Xiaomi Mi 9 supports 24W fast charging? That's right, if the 24W super fast were on board the future top of the range instead of the 18W present in devices like Mi 8 and Redmi Note 7? It would be a nice surprise despite tadpole rumors of the presence of the 32w, even if it seems pretty hard.
What if Xiaomi Mi 9 supports 24W fast charging or even 32W?
Through the usual Chinese social media Weibo, a post from CEO Lei Jun concerning the charger supplied with the Redmi Note 7 announces something interesting. A user asks for information about the support of the quick charge on the future My 9 and asks precisely: "Lei Jun, Xiaomi Mi 9 will support 24W recharge or even better?"
And the CEO's response "Xiaomi Mi 9 will be the best / will be better”Leaves us a bit surprised as, not being very detailed, it could mean two things: the 9 Mi could support fast charging to 24W and it would be a novelty since we will find in the sales box a charger like that, differently for example from the Mi 8 and the Redmi Note 7 that have supplied only the basic one; the other meaning that we can attribute to the words of the CEO is that the device will support ultra fast charging to 32W. This last option personally would be excluded as a jump like this would be too much.
Despite my disbelief, nothing can be ruled out with Xiaomi and many surprises, thanks also to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 that will be mounted on the terminal, they are around the corner. For the rest, the configuration of the device should in theory be the following: AMOLED display 19: 9 FHD from 6,4 " with reduced notch or with drop of water; three rear cameras of which one Sony IMX586 with 48 megapixel resolution, a second from 12 magapixel and another equipped with technology 3D TOF; SoC Snapdragon 855 aided by the X24 LTE modem and cut at least from 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM; dimensions of 155 x 75 x 7.6 mm; battery from (hopefully) 3500mAh and a price that would be around the 400€.
