Xiaomi does not even rest on the weekend and, after presenting the new one Mijia electric screwdriver a few hours ago, the Chinese brand has just announced the sale of a virtual assistant with dash cam functionality.
The product is born from the cooperation of the renowned brand Mijia and the brand 70Mai (also known as 70 Meter). The Mijia 70Mai Smart Driving Assistant is now on sale on the official Xiaomi website (in China) for the price of 799 if you only want the display with "the brain", while if you also want the additional video camera go up to 999 Yuan.

The driving assistant of Mijia and 70Mai uses a particular chip created by MediaTek for the automotive industry, namely the MediaTek MT8665. This processor supports artificial intelligence, machine learning and car-specific software like mmWave. It then allows you to take advantage of the latest discoveries regarding navigation and infotainment.
In addition, the chip has been designed to work properly even at high temperatures that we find in cars especially in summer, to consume very little in terms of energy and to always remain in standby.
The Mijia 70Mai Smart Driving Assistant can be connected to the dedicated 70-MAPP application to be used with a navigator, to access WeChat, record the route traveled and for other features. Mijia's assistant uses a personalized version of Google maps that adds voice commands to the interface. For example we can ask what the road conditions are, at what speed it is appropriate to go and choose the route with less traffic, so as to ensure a more pleasant journey.
As if that were not enough, the Smart Driving Assistant can be used to control the Xiaomi gadgets that we have at home, this because it refers to the XiaoAI assistant, used in many other products of the Chinese brand.
The device has the function of speakerphone once connected to the smartphone through Bluetooth connection, we can then make and answer calls without using the smartphone. While for car music, we can always ask the AI assistant to play our favorite songs.
Regarding the dash cam functionality, the Mijia 70Mai Smart Driving Assistant supports AHD video transmission with a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 (720p). However, the 70 Mai camera is sold separately.
Once the camera is connected, it will be possible to use the system that allows you to take videos automatically when you encounter a shock. In these cases a video will be saved that will not be overwritten and a notification will be sent to the dedicated application.
The Mijia 70Mai Smart Driving Assistant is now on sale at the 799 Yuan figure, on the 100 € (without room), and 999 Yuan, about 130 € (with room).
