Xiaomi continues to innovate in the field of health technology with the launch of the Mijia Eight-Electrode Body Fat Scale S800, a smart scale designed to provide highly accurate body composition analysis. This device, which represents a step forward from traditional four-electrode scales, will be available for pre-sale in China starting from 10:00 on April 23 at a price of 299 yuan (about 38 euros).
Xiaomi Mijia Eight-Electrode Body Fat Scale S800: The New Health Monitoring Scale is Official

The Mijia S800 uses a revolutionary technology based on eight electrodes, distributed between the surface of the scale and a handle. This configuration allows to apply multi-frequency bioelectrical signals to different parts of the body, performing a complete scan of the upper limbs, trunk and lower limbs. Thanks to the alternating high and low frequency signal technology, the device is able to penetrate cell membranes and accurately measure the impedance of intra- and extracellular fluids.

This innovation guarantees a correlation greater than 97% with the results obtained through DEXA tests, considered the gold standard for body composition analysis. In this way, the S800 scale offers results comparable to those of medical devices, but with the convenience of a home product.
By connecting the Mijia S800 scale to the Mi Home app or Xiaomi Sports Health app, users can access detailed analysis of 40 body parameters with just one click. Data collected includes body fat percentage, muscle mass, bone density and more. The system automatically generates a personalized body composition report, accompanied by recommendations for optimal health management.

Compatibility with two apps allows users to sync data and easily track progress over time, creating a complete picture of their health and fitness habits.
Designed for use by the whole family, the Mijia S800 supports data storage for up to 36 members. It also includes a body composition measurement mode specifically for children and young people, allowing parents to accurately monitor their children's growth and development.
