Xiaomi officially presented the Mijia Electric Kettle 3, an electric kettle now available for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting May 15 at 10:00, with a price of 109 yuan (about 14 euros).

One of the distinctive aspects of the Mijia Electric Kettle 3 is its construction in 316L stainless steel, a material certified for food contact. In addition to ensuring safety and hygiene, this steel is known for its resistance to corrosion, high hardness, ability to withstand high temperatures and prevention of odor formation when boiling water.
The kettle has a capacity of 1,7 liters, allowing you to boil up to 8 cups of water in a single cycle, ideal for everyday home or office use.
Performance-wise, the Mijia Electric Kettle 3 boasts a power of 1800W, ensuring reduced boiling times. Thanks to the ring heating technology with 360° energy concentration, the water is heated uniformly, ensuring rapid and effective boiling.
Xiaomi has also implemented a high quality thermostat, tested for over 10.000 cycles of use, to ensure that each boil is complete and that the device maintains constant performance over time.
One of the key elements of the Mijia Electric Kettle 3 is its advanced safety system, which includes three levels of protection: Anti-boil dry, which automatically turns off the kettle if the water runs out; automatic shutdown at high temperature, preventing the device from overheating; and shutdown when the kettle is lifted, ensuring that it does not accidentally remain on when serving water.
To improve safety during use, the Electric Kettle 3 is designed with a double-layer structure, consisting of a 316L stainless steel interior and a high temperature resistant PP exterior. This system allows the water to be kept hot while the body of the kettle remains warm to the touch, preventing accidental scalding.
Xiaomi has Perfected the spout design, adopting a rounded U-shape, which allows for a uniform and drip-free flow of water. Thanks to a one-piece construction without gaps, the internal surface reduces the risk of limescale formation, making cleaning easier and ensuring long-term hygienic use.
In addition to its advanced technical specifications, the Electric Kettle 3 offers a number of features designed for user convenience. The one-touch boiling system allows you to activate boiling with a single touch, while the automatic reopening of the lid guarantees ease of use. The Double dampened lid prevents immediate steam escape, reducing the risk of accidental burns. Finally, the base of the kettle is designed to be compact and easy to store, adapting perfectly to any environment.
