Mijia Glasses Camera: presented the first Xiaomi smart glasses with dual cameras and AR

As the name suggests, the Xiaomi Mijia Glasses Camera have the camera as a strong point. In reality, however, the plural should be used as there are two, one with a 50-megapixel Quad Bayer wide-angle lens and one with an 8-megapixel periscope lens with OIS optical image stabilization.

With this combination of lenses, Mijia's smart glasses achieve a 5x optical zoom and a 15x hybrid zoom. At the same time, to facilitate real-time recording, the device supports quick capture in seconds and supports the "replay" function, which can keep the image content 10 seconds before pressing the shutter, so as to avoid missing important moments.

Furthermore, being a product of the Mijia ecosystem, the Mijia Glasses Camera can also be connected to the smartphone via the dedicated app, so as to quickly import photos, apply film effects and share with one click.

In addition to the photographic function, thanks to the integrated Snapdragon 8-core independent processing platform, the glasses also support AR (Augumented Reality, augmented reality).

As for the display, the product uses a combination of Micro OLED display + free-form optical prism, with a luminous efficiency ratio of 60%, has passed the hardware-level low blue light certification from the German Rheinland and also very visible under the sunlight.

In terms of functionality, the glasses can translate between Chinese and English in real time and can use the Mijia glasses camera for AR effects. Other features that will also roll out via OTA updates in the future include botanical gardens, zoos, and screencasting.

To ensure the privacy of the subject, the front of the glasses is equipped with an LED indicator, which lights up when taking photos or recording videos. The total weight of the glasses is 100 grams.
