Well, today the new Mijia Photo Printer 1S was released, priced at 599 yuan (77 euros), with a 3-inch (86 × 102 mm) square photo printing mode, a new direct connection function and the possibility of print photos without Wi-Fi. The Xiaomi Mijia Photo Printer 1S comes with 10 sheets of 6-inch photo paper, 10 sheets of 3-inch photo paper and a cartridge.
For the rest, the print resolution of the Xiaomi Mijia Photo Printer 1S remains unchanged, therefore 300 × 300 dpi and continues to use the 3-color CMY dye-sublimation printing technology, to obtain a complete output presentation of 256 levels. The dye-sublimation technology succeeds in presenting richer color levels, a wider color gamut and ensuring better color reproduction.
In addition, to solve the problem of fading and yellowing of photos, they are automatically covered with a colorless transparent protective film in the last stage of photo printing, bringing excellent resistance to scratches, fingerprints and splashes and protecting the photo printed by gas, light or humidity. So the quality of the photos will be preserved longer than traditional photos.
As for connectivity, the Xiaomi Mijia Photo Printer 1S supports four methods: Mijia APP, WeChat app, Airprint and wireless computer printing to print photos with one click.
The Mijia APP also has a built-in template for the most common ID photos, allowing us to print photos for official documents like passport, ID card and more without having to leave the house.
