Xiaomi has launched a new product in its official store, this time it is the first smart safe aimed at young people: the Mijia Smart Safe 30cm. This new product is now available on Xiaomi Youpin and other platforms, and is available for pre-order with a deposit of 649 yuan.

The body of the safe is made of high density carbon steel, formed in one piece, and the outside is spray coated to resist corrosion. The door is made of a Triple steel plate structure, using Q235 solid panel, C-class burglar-proof lock core incorporated, and is equipped with a solid bolt with a diameter of 19 mm.
Mijia Smart Safe supports six unlocking methods, providing users with a variety of options to ensure security. The unlocking methods include:

- Bluetooth

The safe uses the Swedish precise biometric algorithm, with a recognition rate of 99,2% and a recognition speed of less than 0,5 seconds.
The Mijia Smart Safe is equipped with a built-in Mijia security chip, which includes a internally developed encryption algorithm. The user's safe and mobile phone data are encrypted via chip authentication, thus ensuring advanced protection.
After verification, the door will open automatically. To close the door, just push it gently to the closed state and hold it for about a second. After hearing the warning tone, release it and the door will lock and close automatically.
In terms of connection, the safe Supports dual connection mode via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Users can check the safe status, unlock logs and alarm reminders in real time via the Mi Home app.
If any abnormal situation occurs in the safe, an immediate alarm will be issued. After connecting the device to Wi-Fi, messages can also be sent via the Mi Home app, including door open alerts, forced fingerprint, multiple error attempts, low battery reminders, and more.
The Mijia Smart Safe adopts a low-power communication technology, with up to one year of battery life and supports emergency power via Type-C port.
