You are abstinence from gadgets Xiaomi? Well, now let's solve immediately with two new products presented today in China by our favorite brand. It is a sterilizer humidifier and a Bluetooth tracker.
So let's start with the first of the two, officially called Xiaomi Mijia Smart Sterilization Humidifier. The humidifier has as main features a sterilization through UV-C rays, the possibility of being able to move the water tank and a price of only 249 Yuan (32 €). Let's find out more closely!
Xiaomi Mijia Smart Sterilization Humidifier and Bluetooth Tracker presented
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Sterilization Humidifier arises from the need to sterilize the water we want the humidifier to emit. Xiaomi states that this water is often contaminated with bacteria that clearly we do not want to spread around the house and breathe (especially in the presence of children). The solution is therefore a system that passes water from the tank through a sterilization area to UV-C rays, these sterilize and purify water instantaneously and then spread it into the environment.
Inside the humidifier we can store up to 4,5 liters of water, about 18 bottles of mineral water from 250ml, therefore quite large. Once the water has been added, the appliance can run continuously for 12-15 hours depending on the configuration. The tank also has a special design with a large top opening to facilitate filling and cleaning (for example, if we left water to stagnate).
Another interesting point of this humidifier is the way in which it manages to bring water from the tank to the sterilization area. Many humidifiers produce noise during this process, while Xiaomi's Smart Sterilization Humidifier ensures that it is super quiet. This is thanks to the use of Light Sound technology and the development of an advanced electric valve. We will therefore have a less noisy, more gradual and stable process.
Finally, the humidifier uses ceramic components with a high atomization frequency to atomize the water into particles of 1-5 micron. These then come out of the upper mouth to create mist with a range of 300ml per hour.
As we said earlier, the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Sterilization Humidifier is on sale in China at the 249 Yuan figure, or on the 32 euros.
Let's move on to the Bluetooth tracker, released with the official name of Xiaomi Ranres Smart Anti-Lost Device. The device supports two search modes, ie it can be searched or search for other devices. At the same time it has a coverage range of 15 meters, is light and can be taken anywhere.
So let's start with the dimensions, the Ranres Smart Anti-Lost Device measures 42mm x 42mm x 8mm, while the weight is only 10 grams. As for the design instead, this is quite minimal, in fact we have a disc shape with a button and a small leather strap to be able to attach it to an object dear to us or of which we forget the position very often; then house keys, bags, wallets and much more.
As mentioned above, the device has two search modes. Once connected to the smartphone, we can in fact find it by clicking the command on the compatible app that will make it emit a sound. While if the smartphone is the object that we do not find, just double-click the central button to make it ring.
The actual transmission distance of the Xiaomi Ranres Smart Anti-Lost Device is 15 meters (according to Ranres). In case of loss of connection both devices (the smartphone and this accessory) will start a small alarm so that we can notice it.
The Bluetooth tracker uses a button battery that can be changed by removing the back cover, while the official range reported by the brand is 1 year.
The Ranres Smart Anti-Lost Device is now on sale on the Xiaomi website (Chinese) for the price of 99 Yuan (on 13 €) in three colors: white, blue and pink.
