Today we present a very small object, but also very functional. We're talking about the Xiaomi MiKey, that is, a small physical button that, inserted into the audio jack of your smartphone, will allow you to enjoy additional features.
With MiKey, in fact, through a series of clicks you can quickly recall the applications or behaviors of your Xiaomi smartphone.

We will test the MiKey with the Hongmi 1S as it is only compatible with Xiaomi devices, but for all other smartphones you can buy the Hello Klick button. The Xiaomi MiKey is shipped in a very small and cute package, inside which you will find the rubber-coated rubber tip available in various colors. Obviously, this is just an aesthetic and non-functional aspect that Xiaomi, in keeping with his tradition of caring for details, wanted to cure.
For operation, MiKey needs a dedicated Xiaomi official app available here for download.
Inserted into the 3,5 mm jack the MiKEY will be detected by the device and you will need to select the use of the same and not the headphones.
When you open the application, you will find this screen showing the summary of the number of clicks you made and the three actions set for 1 click, 2 click and 3 click. You can set actions up to 10 clicks, even if at that point the use would become a little tedious.
Very interesting is the possibility to set the click speed, variable between 1000 and 0 ms (obviously according to your preferences). In the settings, moreover, you can enable the autofocus in the camera shot, the vibration and decide whether or not to run the app in the background.
With a certain number of clicks, you can also perform a combination of actions, such as shooting a photo, which can also be turned off, and then sharing through the app you like.
Personally I think that Xiaomi MiKey it can be very useful in using certain features, such as cleaning the memory with just one click. Other options are certainly less functional and certainly its utility is expressed to a maximum of a maximum of 3-4 clicks and not more.
