Xiaomi MIX 5 Pro will have the Surge C2 chip for premium photography

In these months Xiaomi he is also working on series MIX 5, which includes the device of the same name and the MIX 5 Pro. According to some information, the big brother of the series, the MIX 5 Pro, will be set to get the Surge C2 ISP, which will give a strong boost to the photographic capabilities of the device. The image processing process will be the same as the Surge C1 announced last year with the MIX Fold, but enhanced. In this article, here are all the details on what has leaked on the net in these hours.

MIX 5 will have the Surge C1 ISP, MIX 5 Pro Surge C2

The main peculiarities of this new processor are the ability to perform Auto AWB, Auto AE and Auto AF. Compared to the Surge C1, the camera's capabilities will be more assertive, although there are no details on the specific features of the chip.

It is believed that the MIX 5 will get the Surge C1 ISP, which means that the multifunctional telephoto camera with liquid lens technology will bring better low-light shooting for its little brother. It will have a 48MP front camera just like the MIX 5 Pro. The difference is in the configuration of the rear camera module: the MIX 5 will have a primary lens of 50MP (resolution 8192 × 6144 pixels) with OIS and a 48MP secondary lens with 2x optical zoom. MIX 5 Pro on the other hand gets a primary shooter from 50 MP (8192 x 6144 pixel resolution) with OIS, for an 48MP ultrawide lens e zoom 5x.

All this suggests that Sony MX766 and IMX707 sensors will be integrated on this series. As for the release date, we know in all likelihood that the series will be released in the spring. We will see in the coming weeks, when the rumors will also follow on the launch of the devices in question.
