The leaked certification information gives us our first look at the device’s charging capabilities, while previous leaks had already revealed major upgrades to the camera department and performance.
The 3C certification report provides significant details on the features of the MIX Flip 2. We find out that the certified model “2505APX7BC” is intended for the Chinese market, the device is labeled as 5G smartphones, with the MDY-15-EQ charger indicated in the manual and finally the 67W wired fast charging it is confirmed, the same standard as the previous generation.
The continuity with 67W charging technology demonstrates Xiaomi's commitment to balancing charging speed and battery life, maintaining high performance throughout the life of the device. Following the numbering models, the MIX Flip 2 launch is expected for May or June 2025.
According to rumors that surfaced in January, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will introduce strategic changes in the photographic department. A replacement for the 50-megapixel OV2M 50x telephoto camera present in the previous generation and a new Samsung S50KJN5 5 megapixel ultra-wide sensor, which suggests greater versatility than the zoom function.
