Xiaomi has officially started the campaign for its new foldable clamshell, the MIX Flip 2, confirming that the launch will take place by the end of June in China. The announcement came through the company's official website, where an image of the device's packaging was published accompanied by the words "See you this month".

The MIX Flip 2 represents the second generation of Xiaomi's line of compact foldable devices and, like the previous model, is also expected in a global version, albeit with slightly delayed timing.
Although Xiaomi has not yet revealed the official technical specifications, the rumors circulating in recent months outline a high-end device. The heart of the MIX Flip 2 should be the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 3nm platform that promises top-level performance, in line with the top-of-the-range models of 2025.
Il internal display will be a 6,85 inch LTPO AMOLED panel, “1.5K+” resolution (2912 x 1224 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 3.000 nits peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM support for eye protection. The external display, instead, it will be a AMOLED from 4,01 inches with similar features, ideal for quick notifications and fast interactions.
The photographic sector will be composed of two 50MP rear sensors, a main one with OIS and f/1.7 aperture, and an ultra-wide angle with f/2.0 aperture. The lenses will be signed Leica Summilux, confirming the collaboration between Xiaomi and the famous photography brand. The front camera will be 32MP.
La The built-in battery will be 5.100mAh, with support to the 67W fast charging via wired connection and 50W wireless charging, ensuring reduced charging times and solid autonomy. The device will also be IPX8 certified, offering water resistance even when immersed.
Other expected features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, stereo speakers, side fingerprint reader, IR sensor and Dual SIM 5G support. The operating system will be Android 15 with HyperOS 2 interface.
The design will be taken care of down to the smallest details, with a body in glass and aluminum, a thickness of only 7,6 mm when closed and a weight of approximately 190 grams.
