Xiaomi introduced the second generation of the foldable smartphone MIX Fold 2. Although many users miss the MIX series of previous generations, the super stylish full-screen ones, i folding I am the future. The company radically redesigned last year's model, making not just a device updated in several respects, but a completely new device in others. The device has become more compact and technically much more advanced thanks to a new folding mechanism and hardware.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is 11.2mm thick when folded and alone 5.4 mm when open. For comparison, the thickness of the USB Type-C connector is 3.74mm. The smartphone weighs 262 grams. To make it so compact, the manufacturer has developed a new one 18% thinner zipper and 35% lighter than its predecessor. It is important that in the folded state, the halves of the device fit snugly together without gaps.
The external screen is from a display AMOLED E5 from 6.56 " with Full HD + resolution, 21: 9 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate, brightness up to 1000 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Inside, it has a large 8.02 ″ OLED display with a resolution of 2160 × 1914 pixels, an adaptive refresh rate of 1 120-Hz (thanks to LTPO 2.0 technology) and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. It doesn't have a selfie camera inside, which means no cutouts or notches.
At the hardware level Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is equipped with a flagship processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. A battery da 4500 mAh is responsible for autonomy, which Xiaomi is particularly proud of given the thickness of the case. There is support for fast charging with a power of 67w: 10 minutes at 38% and 40 minutes at 100%. The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 camera is a triple cam: the main module is from 50 megapixel (Sony IMX766) with optical stabilization, ultra-wide from 13 megapixel and a tele TV with 2x optical zoom. As in the 12S series models, this device uses Leica algorithms responsible for color reproduction.
Harman / kardon stereo speakers are responsible for the sound. The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is "powered" by the skin MIUI Fold 13, designed specifically for foldable devices.
