Xiaomi continues to invest in the electric car sector, entering into an important partnership with the legendary circuit of Nurburgring, in Germany. This agreement will allow Xiaomi to use the track as a development and promotion platform, strengthening its position in the global automotive market.
Xiaomi signs a deal with the legendary Nürburgring circuit

One of the most interesting aspects of this collaboration is the naming of a new corner within the Grand Prix circuit, which will bear the name “Xiaomi curve”. This section, located on turn 12, represents a technical challenge for the drivers, positioning itself immediately after the Michael Schumacher S section and the Goodyear Spange in the sprint configuration.
In addition to this presence on the Grand Prix Circuit, Xiaomi will have significant visibility on the Nordschleife, the long and complex track of the Nürburgring. An advertising installation will be positioned between the Aremberg and Fuchsrohre sections, consolidating the company's marketing strategy in the automotive sector.
The deal comes at a strategic time for Xiaomi, with the SU7 Ultra, its high-performance electric sedan, set to prove its worth on the famous circuit. Back in October, a prototype of the SU7 Ultra recorded a lap time of 6:46.874, making it the fastest four-door car ever tested on the Nürburgring.

The production version of the SU7 Ultra, launched in China in late February, boasts 1.548 horsepower and a starting price of 65.800 euros, positioning it among the most powerful models in the segment. Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi, recently announced that the SU7 Ultra is once again hitting the German track for further testing and optimization.
In addition to speed records, Xiaomi will play a direct role in development and testing activities at the Nürburgring, a key hub for major automakers. For about 16 weeks each year, the track becomes an open-air laboratory where automakers hone their technologies. Xiaomi will use this opportunity to improve its electric propulsion system and the driving dynamics of its vehicles.

Nürburgring CEO Christian Stephani expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stressing that the circuit remains an essential platform for automotive innovation, particularly for the growth of the electric car market.
