Today Xiaomi presented a new and very innovative electric toothbrush, the Xiaomi Oclean X, which is actually the first brush equipped with touch screen display in the world.
In addition to the touchscreen that undoubtedly starts a new era of electric toothbrushes, the Oclean X is also smart. In fact, there is an operating system that can monitor how we clean our teeth, telling us if we have forgotten some areas, allowing us to clean each tooth perfectly. Obviously to use this feature, you will need to connect the toothbrush to your smartphone via a Bluetooth connection and then use the dedicated app.

Having said this, the cleaning percentage can be viewed on the display in real time thanks to reference points. The teeth will in fact be divided into four areas and if we do not clean one of these areas long enough, the toothbrush will make us understand that we have not reached the 100%.
As for the application instead, it will be possible to see eight detailed zones. All these areas can be monitored thanks to the 6 axis gyroscope integrated inside the Oclean X, which can collect up to 1500 data per minute. In particular, it manages to monitor every small change in movements, managing to understand which areas we are brushing.
The Xiaomi Oclean X has a very simple and clear graphic interface, it can show the time, the weather, the usage data and much more. The touch experience is also quite user-friendly with dynamic suggestions and real-time interactions.
The electric toothbrush supports different modes: cleaning, bleaching, massage, sensory and others. Through the application it is then possible to activate up to 20 pre-configured programs that can be modified at will.
On the Xiaomi Oclean X we find 32 well configurable force levels. In theory, the higher the level set, the cleaner our teeth will be, obviously with more vibration. In any case, you can choose the preferred level from 1 to 32, so you can find the best one for your needs or habits.
Furthermore, the toothbrush adopts a new generation of brushless motors with magnetic suspension, which means greater efficiency with minimum wear. It therefore has a high cleaning power with the incredible number of 40 thousand vibrations per minute, with a torque of 220gf / cm and an engine life of over 5000 hours; much better than that of similar devices.
In addition to the high-performance motor, the Oclean X adopts the new classic head produced by DuPont, with rounded tips and assembled in Germany without the use of copper by a leading company in the sector. Furthermore the bristles are attached with a special angle to reach even the deepest spaces.
Going back to the smart side of the toothbrush, there is an algorithm on board that protects our teeth so as not to allow us to ruin them. In particular, thanks to AI and the various sensors, it will be able to understand if we are using the toothbrush in a specific area for too long, effectively reducing the intensity of the vibration. Xiaomi explains that this feature has been added to help those who may be lost in thought while using the toothbrush, especially when set to a higher power than 24.
A bit like with all electric toothbrushes, one of the biggest questions is: where do we keep it? Many times we do not have enough space on the sink or in any case once it is positioned it does nothing but fall when we want to take soap or something else. Xiaomi has therefore decided to create a magnetic stand that we can attach to the wall.
Don't worry, however, if you prefer an ordinary stand, you can also use it in that mode. Perhaps the only negative data, at least aesthetically, is that every so often we will have to connect the cable for recharging, which could make the whole setup a little less pleasant.
Finally, with regard to autonomy, the Xiaomi Oclean X is equipped with a rechargeable 800mAh battery in 2 hours for about 40 days of use in 1 mode and 20 days at maximum power (32).
