Xiaomi Pad 6 Series: Screen Specs Leaked
Well, today, the well-known Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station revealed that the two models of the Xiaomi Pad 6 series will use a Chinese-made screen with a resolution of 2880*1800p and support a high refresh rate of 120/144Hz. The screen size is about 11 inches, so we are talking about large tablets, with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ at the same time.
As for the type of screen, since it is of great interest to users, the leakster said that it could still be an LCD screen, but admits that he is not yet certain.
From what we know thanks to previous leaks, the Xiaomi Pad 6 series will be available in two versions, the standard version and the Pro version, equipped respectively with SM8250AC (Qualcomm Snapdragon 870) and SM8475 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1) processors. Compared to the previous generation, the processor of the Xiaomi Pad 6 in the standard version remains unchanged, with the still excellent Snapdragon 870 on board. While the performance of the Pro version has been significantly improved.
In particular, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 adopts TSMC's 4nm manufacturing process, and the main frequency of the super-large core is increased to 3,2GHz. The CPU power consumption is about 30% lower than the that of the Snapdragon 8, GPU power consumption is reduced by up to 30%, and overall platform power consumption is approximately 15% lower than that of the Snapdragon 8.
Additionally, the Xiaomi Pad 6 series will be available with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Other specs are expected to include support for 67W fast charging, a large battery, and a fingerprint sensor.
