Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and new Xiaomi YU7 SUV have a launch date

Xiaomi has announced a grand launch event on May 22, 2025 in China, where it will showcase several new products. Among the most anticipated novelties are the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, the new flagship tablet, and the Xiaomi YU7, the company's first SUV. In addition to these devices, the company will also unveil the xiaomi 15s pro, the first smartphone equipped with the chip Xring O1, designed in-house and built on the 3nm process.

Lo Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra will be one of the most advanced tablets ever produced by the company. According to rumors, the device will feature a large OLED display from 14 inch, featuring ultra-thin bezels and a front notch, which could include support for 3D facial recognition.

One of the most interesting elements of the Pad 7 Ultra is the Xring O1 processor, a chip developed internally by Xiaomi and now entered the mass production phase. Built on TSMC's advanced 3nm process, the chipset promises top-of-the-line performance, supporting AI tasks, advanced graphics processing and ultra-smooth gaming.

The Pad 7 Ultra will also be compatible with the 120W ultra-fast charging, a feature that will allow users to fully charge their device in a very short time.

In addition to mobile devices, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi YU7, the company's first SUV, marking the brand's official entry into the automotive sector. After the success of the SU7 electric sedan, Xiaomi wants to expand its range of vehicles, offering an innovative and technologically advanced driving experience.

According to rumors, the YU7 will be equipped with UWB integration, enabling advanced connection with Xiaomi smartphones, including the 15S Pro. This will enable smart interactions, such as keyless unlocking, remote activation, and synchronization with the car's multimedia system.

Xiaomi XRING o1

During the official announcement, CEO Lei Jun confirmed that the Xring O1 has entered the mass production stage, becoming one of the few 3nm-based mobile chips in the market.

Developed after an investment of more than 13 billion Yuan (about 1,7 billion Euros), the Xring O1 integrates a 10-core architecture, accompanied by the Immortalis-G925 GPU, designed to offer high-level performance in games and AI applications.
