The Chinese colossus Xiaomi has launched the new one Pad 7S Pro, expanding its premium tablet range with a device that sits between the Pad 7 Pro and the Pad 7 Ultra. Unveiled in China during the “New Beginnings” event, the Pad 7S Pro is the third device to integrate the Proprietary XRing O1 chipset, marking a further step forward in Xiaomi's strategy to develop in-house hardware solutions to compete with the industry giants.

The tablet stands out for its large 12,5-inch LCD display with 3.2K resolution (3.000 x 2.136 pixels), 308 PPI density, 144Hz refresh rate and 3:2 aspect ratio, designed to improve productivity and management of multimedia content. Despite its generous dimensions, the device maintains a thin profile of 5,8 mm and a light weight of 576 grams, making it easy to handle even for mobile use.
Under the hood, the Pad 7S Pro is powered by the XRing O1 chip, a 3nm deca-core chip with a 925GHz Cortex-X3,9 main core, Immortalis-G925 GPU, and a 6-core NPU. Available configurations include 8, 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X/5T RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage, offering high performance for both everyday use and more intensive activities such as multitasking and content creation.
The battery is another strong point: with one capacity of 10.610 mAh, Supports the 120W wired fast charging, one of the fastest ever seen on a tablet. This allows you to get hours of use with just a few minutes of charging, a real advantage for those who work on the go.
The photographic sector includes a 50MP rear camera (JN1, f/1.8, PDAF) and a 32MP front (OV32D, f/2.2), both designed to offer high-quality video calls, document scanning and occasional photography. The tablet also integrates six stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, for an immersive audio experience while watching movies or gaming.
Il Operating system is HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, with advanced features such as workstation mode, wireless PC mirroring with 41ms latency, mouse and keyboard sharing, and fast file transfer with Windows and macOS. The Pad 7S Pro is available in China in several configurations:

- 12GB + 256GB: 3.599 yuan (about 462 euros)
- 12GB + 512GB: 3.899 yuan (about 500 euros)
- 16GB + 512GB: 4.099 yuan (about 525 euros)
- 16GB + 1TB: 4.499 yuan (about 575 euros)
It's not clear at the moment whether the device will also be released in international markets, but considering that the Pad 6S Pro was also distributed in Europe, a future global version, perhaps with a different chipset, cannot be ruled out.
