Xiaomi Poco gives calculators to the OnePlus event, the 6T is too expensive!

Many of you will be aware of the presentation of the OnePlus 6T which took place a few days ago in New York, and with you so is Xiaomi, or at least the sub-brand POCO. If we go to the official twitter profile of the smartphone brand for the Indian region, we discover that the announcement did not go unnoticed, unleashing a rather funny provocation, both on social networks and in the streets of the eastern country.

POCO India would in fact have given calculators to those who attended the OnePlus 6T presentation event held in India. The trolling by the staff of POCO it was then shared by a user on Reddit with the image you can see below. In practice, a normal calculator in a package with the words "do the math" on it, do the math.

Poco vs OnePlus 6T

The tagline then became a related #DoTheMath Twitter tag from a video comparing the Pocophone F1 with the OnePlus 6T, both with Snapdragon 845 processors but with the first that costs 20,999 rupees, while for the second you have to pay 37,999 rupees, therefore a difference of 17000 rupees, about 200 euros; almost the price of another F1.

As always, this is marketing and comparing two smartphones that are similar in that they have the same processor, but then they are different in many other factors, it does not make much sense.

For example the basic version of the OnePlus 6T has 128GB of internal memory, the Pocophone F1 only 64GB (although expandable), the former has an OLED screen and fingerprint sensor under the screen, while the F1 has an old-fashioned IPS display and fingerprint scanner on the back. There are also differences in favor of the Pocophone F1 as the largest battery and the presence of an audio jack.

What do you think? POCO Is India right to make fun of OnePlus for rising prices? Or is the OnePlus 6T worth what it costs?
