After several months of silence and lack of information, a few days ago the rumor of a possible launch of the successor of the much loved Pocophone F1 with the name of Poco F2. Today, however, a rumor arrives that actually denies that speculation and attributes the name of “Xiaomi to the device POCO X2 ".
Xiaomi Poco X2 caught on GeekBench, is it the global version of Redmi K30?
As we can see in the image above, in fact, a smartphone called Xiaomi POCO X2 would just appear on the popular Geekbench benchmark platform. The terminal obtained a score of 547 for the single core mode and 1767 in the multi core mode. So a not very high score, even if we must consider that it is GeekBench in version 5, which generates lower scores than in previous versions.
In any case, the CPU on board the device is certainly not that of a flagship, as it was with the Pocophone F1. If we go to see the data we find in fact a maximum clock of 1,8 Ghz, while the amount of RAM settles on 8GB, these two clues suggest that it could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G.

But why create yet another smartphone with Snapdragon 730G considering those already in circulation? Well, apparently it could be a device already released in China, let's talk about the recent Redmi K30. So the smartphone would be marketed in the rest of the world under a different name and which as we know is associated with a series (Poco) which brings high performance at cheaper prices.
In fact, this could be excellent news for us Italians, not having to pay for the Xiaomi (Mi) branding as it happened with Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro, even if the two devices quickly fell in price settling with those Corresponding Redmi K20 series. Furthermore, always with the same logic, we can also already assume that the Redmi K30 5G with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G and 5G connectivity, can be marketed outside of China under the name of Poco X2Pro.

Finally, we remind you that the Redmi K30 is the smartphone with a 6.67-inch screen and a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4500mAh battery and a 27W fast charge; while the 5G version adopts a faster 30W recharge.
