Mind you, whether it is a smartphone from 2000 euros or from a fifty euro, what we are looking for certainties is the photographic sector and autonomy, in simple terms how to take photos and how long the battery lasts. Flying over the fact that we will hardly find good photographic and video performances in an entry level smartphone (but not impossible), what we can certainly say is that in the past Xiaomi has got used to us very well with their devices and their autonomy.
In the past perhaps there was "less" particular hardware and therefore net of a good amperage, the battery on Xiaomi smartphones has always given excellent performance, but with the latest generation smartphones things seem to have changed slightly and after 1/2 years of use, perhaps the first signs of slowing begin to be felt. Xiaomi however does not abandon its users (at least in China) and given the previous announcement relating to the month of tech assistance, to be held precisely in March 2020, now here is to offer as a service the replacement of the battery for some top models of the corporate portfolio, the all for just 49 yuan (about 6,2 euros per exchange), of course excluding the price of materials.
Xiaomi promotes the battery replacement service for some of its devices
In addition to the battery replacement service, Xiaomi also offers its users additional services, such as disinfection and cleaning of the smartphone, general maintenance etc .. but not only for smartphones but also for other products such as washing machines, TVs and much more. The battery replacement service is available for the following models:
- Xiaomi Mi 8
- Xiaomi Mi 8 SE
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Transparent Edition
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition
- Xiaomi Mi 9
- Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
- Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G
- Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s
- Xiaomi Mi Max 3
- redmi 6
- Redmi 6A
As already mentioned, the service is available only in China, but it could be the basis for a future initiative that Xiaomi could also export to our country. In fact, the company has set foot in our country for almost two years, so the first signs of the battery failure of the smartphones sold at the time begin to be felt. And what do you think of the initiative, would you also promote it in our market?
