Xiaomi when it will arrive in America?

To date, as we know, Xiaomi mobile devices have not existed in the US market and at present, i products of this brand sold in the New World only mostly electronic items of various kinds mainly related to the home sector; the smartphone as a main product has not been able to enter the American market forcefully as it did with other markets (see the European and English markets) and has therefore not established itself among the leading manufacturers in that area. In America, the demand for low-cost smartphones is not so high, and even among consumers looking for advantageous prices, Xiaomi has no recognition given the strong competition from companies like Huawei.

In contrast, however, according to the report of the statistical agency Canalys, revenues from smartphone shipments in countries like India have soared and rocketed the brand dominated for three consecutive quarters, leaving Samsung to pursue it and the other brands still behind with a not inconsiderable gap.

Xiaomi when and how will it arrive in America?

Already this year, July Wang Xiang, vice president of Xiaomi and second to you Jun He hinted that mobile devices could enter the US market in the 2019. Since then, many questions and speculations have been made about when, to be precise, Xiaomi could have completely opened up to the US market and let the mobile devices also be depopulated there. True and, as we told you before, That the American market is much more difficult: i very strict quality controls (see SAR) and the monopoly of other companies well rooted Xiaomi, make it very difficult for another giant to enter their market and risk that it "steals" a nice slice of the market.

In the third quarter report on company profits Shou Zi Chew, the CFO of Xiaomi ( "Chief Financial Officier"Or who manages the company's financial strategy) told the media:

"The US market is a very important market and will always maintain a state of concern for big companies (who want to invest there) but also an active climate (it speaks clearly of the exaggerated production not only physical but also new ideas)" . 

In contrast to the internal sales of Xiaomi (so only in China), which we know to be decreased by a good 18% per year, there are comforting data regarding abroad: over 100% more export than previous years. This goes a bit 'in contrast with what Xiaomi says to be, or a company that develops and "lives" of technology, when we know that the 70% of revenue comes from the smartphone side rather than the IoT part, but on the other hand it could be a good alarm bell for the multinationals that control the American market, but in spite of everything Shou Zi Chew says:

"We must not blindly pursue the growth of shipments, we must pursue quality growth and we must adhere to our efficient model and do our best to return the money to consumers (in the form of products we mean)."

In a nutshell what we try to say is: on the one hand the numbers speak clearly, with foreign revenue from smartphones beyond imagination, but on the other hand, the smartphone market in America may not take root at all because that slice of the market does not require a cheap smartphone as much as a "contour" electronic accessory.
