In May last year we told you about how Xiaomi would have introduced the filter dedicated to the sky on MIUI 11. The currently most complete (not perfect, obviously) Android operating system is growing day by day pending its twelfth release. The latest features we have seen will arrive on our devices Xiaomi are the Dark Mode adjustable and a Video editor integrated in the "Gallery" app of Xiaomi Mi 10. The latest news comes from the developer team of XDA, which speaks to us of new ones rain and snow filters on MIUI 11. These too, of course, will be integrated into the native "Gallery" app.
New filters on MIUI 11 are coming: it is a rain and snow filter to edit our best videos and photos
This new feature dedicated to the weather on our photographs was discovered, as usual, by the developer who responds to the name of kacskrz. As you read in the title, this new peculiarity is being tested with regards to videos. It is not excluded however that it will also be available for edit our shots. The new mode has been discovered of MIUI 11 version 2.2.15.12 of the latest China Developer ROM.
The videos above you see how it will be possible to edit a video adding the rain filter. In the case of rain, thebackground image remains blurry, as if we were behind a window. The function could, most likely, be defined as "dynamic sky filter" e Igor Eisberg of the Xiaomi.eu team managed to manually activate the function by sharing the attached videos. Below the snow filter.
In this specific case, the background it is not out of focus and the snowflakes fall as it happens in reality. Those we can define Meteorological filters basically add one realistic overlay of rain or snow on the video. It has not been confirmed by Xiaomi what the compatible devices will be, but the XDA team believes that only Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro e Redmi K30 Pro will be compatible. We are confident of broader compatibility.
