Xiaomi reaches a new record: it's the most powerful wireless charging

By now we are used to the fact that Xiaomi, year after year, manages to reach a new record. Just think of score that BlackShark 3 achieved on AnTuTu benchmark: the highest in the world together with the new Nubia smartphone. In this case, however, we are not talking about scores, but always about numbers. Remember from the beginning of the release of the wireless charging, how Xiaomi has evolved? Well, he took it one step further and revealed he has reached a new record, and therefore a greater wireless charging power. Guess how much?

Who has the most powerful and fastest wireless charging? Xiaomi, since it has made a new record, 40 W

If we talk about concept phones that will never see the market, then the record is Vivo Apex 2020. This new smartphone announced two days ago, which we will never find on the shelves, has one 60W wireless charging, absurdly powerful and fast. If instead we talk about smartphones already on the market, they are Xiaomi and Oppo to contend for first place who has the most powerful and therefore faster wireless charging.

With this video on Weibo there is no doubt: with well 40w Xiaomi has reached the top. Waiting for someone to pass it, of course. Oh yes, because progress passes not only through broken records, but also through "lost races", which in turn encourage brands to do better and better. Xiaomi's story, if we talk about power records in wireless charging, is basically made up of four moments.

In March of the 2018 Xiaomi introduces the wireless charging to 7.5W, supported primarily by Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. Just seven months later, in October, a small leap forward was made by presenting the wireless charging to 10W supported by the Xiaomi slider phone Mi Mix 3. Only four months later the mail doubled with the reaching 20W of power supported by the beautiful Xiaomi Mi 9. Afterwards, in September last year we saw the Mi Charge Turbo output together with Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G. This goes up to 30W of power supplied.

In March 2020 winds instead, or today, Xiaomi reaches its maximum with a power of 40W. Thanks to this wattage, which we know to be supported by Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, a 4000 mAh battery can be recharged in a few minutes. In 20 minutes reaches 57% while in 40 minutes 100%. Furthermore, thanks to MIFC technology, the device will not exceed a certain temperature, making sure that the battery does not deteriorate in the long run.
