Together with Notes redmi 7 Pro that now we have been waiting for months, today the sub-brand of the Chinese giant Xiaomi has also presented the most entry-level device in their catalog, we talk about the Redmi 7. Unlike the new terminal of the Note series, Redmi 7 didn't talk much about it, except for some details in the last few weeks. Which is why this presentation was perhaps among the most interesting held today. Let's find out all the specifications of the device!
Xiaomi Redmi 7 Presented: The specifications of the new entry-level king
As always, let's start with the design of the device which, as you have already noticed, does not seem to differ much from that of the Note series. So we have a back cover with gradient colors that include blue, red, black and many others; then there are the two traffic light cameras at the top left and the fingerprint sensor in the central part. This is obviously a step up from previous versions which usually came with a less eye-catching look in relation to the older brothers.
In front instead, we find a display from 6,26 inches of diagonal with HD + resolution (hence 1520 × 720) and an aspect ratio of 19: 9. Inside which we then have a drop-shaped notch that contains the camera for selfies.
From the point of view of internal hardware, Redmi 7 is updated and brings a new CPU that should please everyone, let's talk about Qualcomm Snapdragon 632, definitely one step ahead of the Snapdragon 625 of previous generations (Redmi 6 Pro). The CPU is then assisted by up to 4GB RAM and a maximum of 64GB of internal memory expandable through the microSD slot.
Moving on to the photographic sector, Redmi's entry-level device sports two rear cameras with a primary one from 12 SM and the secondary from 2 SM to create photos with the bokeh effect (blurred background). While the sensor that takes care of selfies has a resolution of 8 SM.
Finally, as regards the components, we cannot fail to mention the large battery from 4000mAh. This, together with the efficient Snapdragon 632 processor should allow at least two, if not three, days of autonomy. Furthermore, the Redmi 7, just like the Note 7 Pro, is also covered with P2i technology, which makes it relatively waterproof.
The Xiaomi Redmi 7 comes with the typical MIUI 10 which runs on top of Android 9.0 Pie. Follow the complete technical sheet:

We conclude, as usual, with the price of the device. The new Redmi 7 was presented in China at the price of 699 Yuan, therefore just over 90 euro for the version with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, 799 Yuan (100 €) for 3GB / 32GB version and 999 Yuan (130 €) for 4GB / 64GB version.
Xiaomi, or better to say, Redmi, seems to be increasingly raising the bar with regard to both mid-ranger and entry-level terminals. The latter Redmi 7 seems in fact destined to become a best buy of the category, do you agree with us? Let us know in the comments section below!
