The sub-brand of Xiaomi, Redmi, has expanded its audio range with the global launch of three new true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones: Redmi Buds 6 Active, Redmi Buds 6 Lite and Redmi Buds 6 Play.
Redmi Buds 6 Active, Buds 6 Lite and Buds 6 Play arrive in Europe
Le Redmi Buds 6 Lite, first introduced in China earlier this year, maintain the original specifications for the global market. These earphones feature a silicone stem and tips design, ensuring a comfortable fit. They come with a 12,4mm titanium diaphragm driver, which promises high-quality sound. One of the main features is the ability to active noise cancellation (ANC), that can reduce surrounding noise up to 40dB. Plus, dual microphones with AI noise cancellation ensure clear call quality. The Buds 6 Lite offer up to 7 hours of use with a single charge, with a total battery life extending to 38 hours when used with the pebble-shaped charging case.
Le Redmi Buds 6 Play feature a stemless in-ear design, offering a more discreet look. These earphones are housed in a square-shaped case and come with dynamic drivers from 10 mm for robust audio performance. They also include AI noise reduction technology to improve sound clarity. The Buds 6 Play boast a Battery life up to 36 hours, and a 10-minute quick charge can provide up to 3 hours of playback, making them ideal for users on the go.
Le Redmi Buds 6 Active, similar to the model launched in China, are designed for users looking for a powerful audio experience. They are equipped with a 14,2 mm dynamic driver, tuned by Xiaomi Acoustic Lab, to deliver deep bass and support for spatial audio. These earbuds also feature dual microphones with AI noise cancellation, capable of blocking wind noise. The Buds 6 Active come in a square case with a transparent lid, offering up to 30 hours of battery life.
All three models in the Redmi Buds 6 series come with Bluetooth 5.4 and Google Fast Pair, ensuring seamless connectivity with devices. They are available in Colors Black, White and Blue, with the Buds 6 Active also offered in a pink shades. Prices have not yet been revealed.
