Almost two months after the first rumor concerning the next Redmi flagship, the Xiaomi sub-brand, which became independent last January, has finally formalized the presentation date of the much awaited Redmi K20 (and Redmi K20 Pro).
So let's go straight to the point, Redmi K20 will be announced on May 28, or between a week and a day. It is still not clear where the presentation will be held and whether it will be available in streaming, but we think we will find out in the days to follow and we will share it with you accordingly.
Redmi K20: Official presentation date
In the last 24 hours, in addition to the date of presentation, it was also confirmed a specification that we gave in arrival for several weeks, or the presence of a rear camera from 48MP. Specifically, this is the Sony IMX586 sensor, the one preferred by many at the Samsung GM1 that we have on Redmi Note 7 instead.
Together with the 48MP camera, on Redmi K20 we expect to find a secondary from 8MP with telephoto lens and a third from 13MP with ultra wide-angle lens, basically the same setup as the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. While we know of the front camera only that it will be able to come out automatically when needed thanks to the pop-up mechanism.
As for the rest of the hardware, Redmi's flagship will be equipped with the best mobile processor in circulation, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. The Redmi K20 will then have an audio jack from 3.5mm to be able to connect your favorite headphones and an NFC module.
Moving on to the features that have not yet been confirmed, we have instead an AMOLED screen of 6,39 inches of AMOLED type with a fingerprint sensor below, a battery of at least 4000mAh and will be available in colors. Blue, Red and Carbon Black.
Now we just have to wait poco more than a week to confirm and find out the price.
