When a new smartphone of the Xiaomi brand is about to be launched on the market, confusion reigns supreme. Indeed when it was presented the Redmi 5 ed the Redmi 5 Plus the most accredited sources said that the latter would have taken the place of the expected Redmi Note 5 that apparently would no longer be produced. Subsequent rumors then denied the above and so here we are today (actually l'8 January 2018) where is it two new devices with model number MET7S and MEE7S they appeared in the 3C certification body database in China, both of them naturally under the Xiaomi brand.
The Redmi 5 Plus has similar serial numbersin fact, when it was registered in the database it reported the abbreviation MEE7 and MET7. At this point different scenarios are opened, because the two new devices registered could be upgraded versions of the Redmi 5 Plus or the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is coming in the panorama of low / medium-range smartphones, on the other hand it is well known that the Redmi Note series is a sort of enhancement of the more classic Redmi series. Officially there are no signs of confirmation or denial by Xiaomi, which is focusing its attention on the imminent MWC 2018 of Barcelona, an event for which fans are waiting for the probable presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 7.
However the Redmi Note 5 is a long awaited device as belonging to a series that over the years has become very popular due to the excellent quality / price / performance ratio. The bets are open around the CPU that will adopt the Chinese mid-range, as previous reports provide for the adoption of a performing Snapdragon 660 or an SD 636 ma the chipset the most likely is the Snapdragon 632. Also waiting for the presence of a dual camera on the back together with a display in 18 format: 9 from 5,99 inches characterized by reduced frames. To us of the staff the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus had convinced considerably and so if indeed the new Redmi Note 5 will be an enhanced version, it will only be a success.
