
While many Mi Fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the upcoming Redmi flagship stores, the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro, just as many people seem to appreciate the already available Redmi Note 7 range presented at the beginning of the year.
Xu Jieyun, the general manager of the PR department of Xiaomi, would have revealed the results achieved in these first four months.
Redmi Note 7: Over 10 million units sold in 129 days
Specifically, the Redmi Note 7 has sold more than 10 million units in just 129 days, in comparison, the Huawei alternative, or the Honor 8X has succeeded in selling more than 10 million but in 173 well days. So in fact Redmi outclassed Honor by selling an exorbitant number of 44 devices days in advance.
That the Note 7 sells well is not in itself a novelty, already in March the Xiaomi sub-brand had announced excellent results, with over 4 million units sold. In recent months, however, Redmi seems to have put his fifth and closest competitor in the limelight.
If you were not aware of it, the Redmi Note 7 is the latest mid-range with entry-level price (or almost) presented by the smartphone manufacturer. It manages to equip the excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, up to 4Gb with RAM and 128GB with internal memory (expandable via microSD), all starting from a price of 179 € (it is also less than China).
Other specifications on the Note 7 include a 6.3 ″ Full HD + display covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with a drop notch, the presence of the 3.5mm jack, a USB Type-C port and an Adreno 512 GPU. The smartphone is also Dual Sim and comes with a large 4000mAh battery. Finally, in the photographic sector the medium range of Redmi equips a main 48MP sensor accompanied by a secondary sensor with 5MP resolution.
